SGR has successfully installed its N-series planetary gear reducer on a local sightseeing vessel in Russia. The gears of the N-series planetary gear reducers are manufactured from 20CrMnTi steel, undergoing carburizing, quenching, and precision grinding. This design enables load sharing across multiple teeth, ensuring smooth, reliable operation and high mechanical efficiency. Featuring a fully sealed design, the reducer offers a high level of protection, making it suitable for Russia's challenging environments characterized by high humidity, low temperatures, and riverside salt spray. Additionally, the gears undergo precision grinding and special profile modification to ensure low-noise operation. SGR has also obtained RS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping) certification, meeting the mandatory standards for marine equipment entry into the Russian market.

The planetary speed-increasing gearbox developed and manufactured by SGR has been successfully deployed at a hydroelectric power station in Singapore. Featuring a coaxial input-output design and a compact structure, the unit facilitates seamless integration with turbine-generator sets, making it ideal for small and medium-sized hydroelectric plants. It achieves a transmission efficiency of over 97%, thereby maximizing the conversion of hydro energy. Furthermore, the gearbox utilizes a multi-tooth simultaneous meshing design combined with high-precision gear grinding, ensuring smooth, low-noise operation suitable for urban or ecologically sensitive areas.

Belt conveyors represent another classic application for SGR planetary gear reducers. These reducers utilize 20CrMnTi steel subjected to carburizing, quenching, and precision gear grinding, resulting in high surface hardness and excellent core toughness. This enables them to withstand the rigors of frequent start-stop cycles, material impact, and continuous heavy-load operation. Furthermore, thanks to load distribution across multiple gear teeth, the reducer offers smooth, reliable operation, high mechanical efficiency, low heat generation, and maintenance-free performance. Optional features—such as backstops, brake interfaces, and specialized sealing structures are available to ensure effective operation in dusty, humid, or complex outdoor environments.

SGR successfully applies N series planetary gear reducers to key drive systems of agricultural and livestock machinery in Argentina. The gears of N series planetary gear reducers are made of high-quality 20CrMnTi alloy steel, which has been processed by carburizing and quenching + precision grinding processes. It has the advantages of multi-tooth synchronous meshing, even load distribution, and high rigidity transmission. It can maintain efficient, stable, and low failure rate operation under heavy-load, continuous operating conditions such as forage harvesting and silage baling.

In response to challenges such as high dust, strong vibration, and large temperature differences between day and night that are common in South American agricultural and animal husbandry environments, the N series planetary gear reducer adopts a fully sealed structure design to effectively isolate external impurities and moisture intrusion. It has a high level of protection and ensures long-term reliable operation of internal gears and bearings. At the same time, the gears have been precision ground and optimized for tooth profile modification, which significantly reduces meshing noise and local stress, and improves the comfort and service life of the entire machine.
SGR’s planetary gear reducers are widely used in domestically manufactured electric-drive drilling rigs. In operations such as horizontal directional drilling, geological exploration, and shale gas extraction, the N-series planetary gear reducer serves as a core transmission component for the rotation and feed systems of these rigs, thanks to its high torque density, high transmission efficiency (≥96%), and excellent impact resistance.

To meet the demands of drilling operations, characterized by frequent start-stop cycles, sudden load spikes, and harsh field environment, the reducer utilizes 20CrMnTi carburized and quenched gears finished with a precision grinding process to ensure optimal tooth surface hardness and meshing accuracy. Its compact, coaxial output design facilitates direct integration with permanent magnet synchronous motors, thereby enhancing system response speed and energy efficiency. Additionally, the housing is constructed from high-strength cast iron with optimized heat-dissipation ribs and a fully sealed enclosure; this effectively protects against mud, dust, and moisture, ensuring stable, long-term equipment operation in both low- and high-temperature environments.
SGR's planetary gear reducers have been successfully used in many domestic crawler engineering machinery, including crawler transport vehicles, small excavators, and mountain work platforms. In harsh working conditions such as complex terrain, high load climbing and frequent turns, the N series planetary gear reducer provides stable and efficient power output for the crawler drive system by virtue of its multi-tooth shunt, high rigidity structure and excellent overload resistance.

The core gear of the reducer is made of 20CrMnTi alloy steel, which has been carburized and quenched + precision grinding to ensure high strength and long life. At the same time, special tooth shape modification technology can effectively reduce meshing impact and operating noise, and improve the operating comfort of the entire machine. In view of the common muddy water, dust and severe vibration environment in field operations, the product adopts a fully sealed design and reinforced bearing configuration to prevent the intrusion of pollutants and ensure the reliable operation of the transmission system under harsh conditions.
In addition, the SGR planetary gear reducer supports hollow shaft or flange output and can be directly integrated into the crawler drive hub, greatly saving installation space and simplifying the transmission chain. Currently, this series of reducers have been supplied in batches to a number of construction machinery manufacturers, and has been field-proven for full load climbing, continuous start and stop, and high and low temperature cycles. With the advantages of "small size, large torque, and high reliability", it helps domestic crawler equipment move into a new stage of high performance and intelligence.
In the first quarter of this year, SGR N-series planetary gear reducers were successfully deployed in domestic wind power equipment, providing core transmission support characterized by high precision, high rigidity, and long service life.
To withstand the extreme conditions to which wind power equipment is exposed—such as high altitudes, strong winds and sand, fluctuating temperatures, and unmanned operation—the SGR planetary reducers utilize gears made of 20CrMnTi alloy steel. These undergo carburizing, quenching, and precision gear grinding to ensure optimal tooth surface hardness and fatigue strength. The unit features a compact, coaxial output design, facilitating integration into space-constrained nacelles or hubs. Additionally, the product employs a fully sealed enclosure and long-lasting lubrication system, effectively resisting erosion from sand, moisture, and salt spray while significantly reducing maintenance frequency.

These planetary gear reducers also offer excellent shock resistance and low backlash, enabling precise responses to wind direction changes and pitch adjustment commands, thereby ensuring the stable operation of wind turbines under sudden, fluctuating wind conditions.
